The band you have never heard of—playing songs that you have.

…semi-accurately …sorta

We are 3 bowling brother-in-law band buddies. We married 3 sisters (1 each and not at the same time) and have been hanging out and randomly jamming at family events for over 15 years.

We have played numerous gigs at venues like “The Harbison House” and at “The Loft in Ron’s house” for events such as “Bella’s Birthday Party” and “Easter”. Now, due to a high demand from our family, we are taking our show out of the house and into the general public. You might catch us at an open mic night in Greenwood, Carmel or Franklin. Lucky you.

Bios

An image of vocalist, Ron Lorenzoni, belting out what are very likely the right notes.

Ron

Ron, the gravel-throated frontman of HouseShot, has been belting out grunge and post-grunge anthems with the kind of passion usually reserved for gas station hot dogs at 2 AM.

With a wardrobe consisting exclusively of thrift store flannel and jeans that have seen better decades, Ron embodies the spirit of a man who refuses to accept that 1998 is over. When he’s not growling his way through Plush or Shimmer, he enjoys long walks through the aisles of Guitar Center, pretending he can play guitar.

An image of Bass/Mandolin player, Isaiah Harbison with a bandage where some of his beard hair used to be

Isaiah

Isaiah thought the mandolin was a fun instrument until he got his beard hairs tangled in the bridge during the climax of a solo. Sure, he powered through—but it cost him dearly.

He diligently avoids expertise by focusing on a new instrument after approaching anything like competency on the previous one. Next up, tenor banjo.

Image of guitarist, Steven Hayslett, looking overly confident and a bit too old to be doing this.

Steve

Steve has been playing guitar on and (mostly) off for 27 years. When he was a teenager, he played very sloppily. He still does—but he used to too.

His guitar playing has been officially recognized by the UN as a non-lethal form of crowd control. In a pinch, it can also be used to scare off loitering customers, apparently. He knows "all 5" of the chords, and unfortunately, insists on playing them.

SmockTown ‘24

A big shout out to Rich who hosts Open Mic Night at SmockTown Brewery in Greenwood. This was our very first public appearance and he made us feel very welcome! Here were are attempting Machinehead.

We are truly saddened to learn that Rich has passed away. He was a great host and fellow musician. Our hearts go out to his family and friends.

Michigan City ‘24

Thanks to the guys in Michigan City Beach Walk Community that let us do a small set during their annual community jam session. Playing with their drummer was amazing! This is us muddling our way through Cumbersome.

Books & Brew ‘25

What a cool venue! Very talented and supportive community up there. Any place that prides themselves on music, games, beer, chicken nuggets and dipping sauces is okay in my book. Here are 3 back-to-back songs: Losing my Religion (@0:05), How's It Going To Be? (@4:39), and The World I Know (@8:18).

– Multiple family members

“I think the guitarist was on a different song than the rest of the band. It wasn’t even the same genre.”

– A very drunk but observant bar patron

“No, you guys can’t just do the same 1 hour set 3 times. You have to do a 3 hour show.”
